I started the lyrics to our upcoming single, "Tall Enough to Ride," while driving in the Virginia countrywide and put some acoustic guitar chords to it.
Bob Hair and Tater Totts changed the chords into something fresh, a song with an easygoing funky feel with a memorable melody because of the clavinet and guitar riffs.
TB sometimes dips into this SoCal soft rock vibe but juxtaposes it with a theme of rural isolation. If you come from a place with Furnace in the name, like near where several members of the band grew up, you often want to get out.
The streaming services want some bands this sounds like. I picked The Rural Alberta Advantage, Okkerville River and Field Medic.
Presave now and get us in the algos, yada yada.
